Multiple Teams · SPRING SPORTS READY FOR DISTRICTS


It’s been a fantastic spring for Staley athletics, as they have racked up conference championships in boys’ and girls’ track, baseball, girls’ soccer, and boys’ golf.  Now that May is underway, the majority of our sports are gearing up for districts.  Here are the details for each sport–make sure to catch each of our teams take the first step towards state!

 

BOYS’ AND GIRLS’ TRACK AND FIELD:

The track and field team will compete at the district meet on Sat., May 12 at Park Hill High School beginning at 10:00AM.  Admission is $5.00 per person, no passes accepted.

 

BOYS’ TEAM TENNIS:

The Falcons will play Winnetonka at Staley on Mon., May 7 at 4:00pm in Class 2, District 15 action.

 

BASEBALL:

The Falcons have earned the #1 seed and will take on the winner of the Platte County/Park Hill South game in the Class 5, District 16 tournament to be played on Mon., May 14 at 2:00pm at Park Hill South.  Admission is $5.00 per person, no passes accepted.

 

GIRLS’ SOCCER:

Staley is the #2 seed in Class 4, District 16 and will face St. Joseph Central at Bode Middle School in St. Joseph on Tues., May 15 at 6:30pm.  Admission is $5.00, no passes accepted.

 

BOYS’ GOLF

On Mon., May 7, Bennett Holloway, Dawson Roberts, and Nate Thompson will compete in the sectional meet in an attempt to qualify for state.
