The four volleyball programs of the NKC Schools will participate in the annual Dig for the Cure matches to provide support to the Side Out Foundation in the fight against breast cancer. This year, North Kansas City High School will be the host on Mon., Oct. 15. Staley will play North Kansas City and Oak Park will take on Winnetonka. The schedule for the Falcons/Hornets matches are as follows:
4:00pm – C Team in the Field House
5:30pm – JV in the Auxiliary Gym
7:00pm – Varsity in the Field House
Admission will be $5 for adults and $3 for students with an ID. Activity passes will be accepted.
There will be a silent auction, a donation bucket, and 50/50 raffle (must be present to win) with all proceeds going to the Side Out Foundation.
A large group photo of all participating teams will be taken in the Field House after the 5:30pm set of matches.
