On to state for Falcon softball!

The Staley softball team defeated Lee’s Summit West, 5-3, in a thrilling Class 4 state quarterfinal game on Sat., Oct. 14 at the North Kansas City Schools District Activities Complex.  The Falcons now advance to the state tournament where they will play in the state semifinals on Fri., Oct. 20 at 1:00 PM vs. Blue

Staley’s Legacy yearbook earns All-American status

Staley High School’s Legacy yearbook earned an All-American ranking, the highest attainable ranking in the nation, in the National Scholastic Press Association’s annual yearbook critique program, for the second year in a row.   Legacy earned four marks of distinction in Concept/Essentials, Coverage, Writing & Editing and Design.   The NSPA judges critiqued the 2017

Holloway finishes 29th at state golf

In a windy, rainy and blustery 2nd day of competition of Class 2 state golf in Sedalia, Ellie Holloway persevered and shot an 86 to finish in 29th place (out of 96).  What a fantastic finish to the season for Ellie–congratulations!  (photo credit to @KcPrepReport)
